EDITING
I’ve been an editor for over 20 years, and I love it almost as much as directing. I’ve had the privilege of editing a wide range of projects, including documentaries, features, music videos, sizzles, short films, commercials, TV, and more. For me, the most important aspect is the collaboration—the people and the project itself.
I began editing my own work straight out of film school and gradually expanded to collaborating with other directors on their projects. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work with some incredible editors, as well as a few who weren’t the right fit for me. I’ve found that the best collaborations happen when editors can set their egos aside, stay humble, and focus on bringing the project’s vision to life.
While many hire me for my creative contributions to storytelling and I’m happy to offer ideas when asked, my role as an editor is to prioritize and serve their vision above all else. Enjoying the process is essential, especially since the work can often be challenging, and that’s always a goal for me— to have fun.
In 2024, I focused on editing a feature documentary, a documentary TV series, and several sizzles for clients. While these projects are not yet released, I’m happy to provide references upon request and can share my editing CV if you email me.
For inquiries about my day rate, feel free to reach out. My rates vary depending on the project and budget. While I do have a baseline, I’m always open to accommodating when possible.
