FILM IS NOT DEAD— LET’S SHOOT SOME 35mm

35mm film is one of my all-time favorite mediums, and I’ve been shooting with it for over 15 years. Much of my professional work focuses on band photos and portraits, examples of which you’ve likely seen on the opening page of this site. I’m open to shooting just about anything if my style aligns with your vision and we click as collaborators. My photography is raw and intimate, and I aim to create a safe, welcoming space for anyone in front of my lens to be themselves—or whatever they want to embody in the moment.

I don’t bring lighting setups or rely on heavy retouching; it’s all about my eye meeting the magic of film and natural light (or whatever the venue provides). I believe simplicity is powerful, and keeping things straightforward is often the key to capturing authentic and dynamic moments.

RATES

I strive to keep my services accessible for emerging artists and musicians. My current rate is $600, which includes 3 rolls of film and a 90-minute shoot. I also offer a sliding scale when possible, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to discuss that option.

A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. If travel is needed, an additional fee may apply, and we can discuss those details when planning.

This flat rate covers a variety of projects, including live show photography (lighting permitting, with 800-speed film), album artwork, social media content, portraits, director and actor headshots, behind-the-scenes coverage, and more. I’m always excited to hear about experimental ideas, so if you’re envisioning something outside of these categories, let’s talk—I love collaborating on creative and unique ideas.
